Leveling Kit, Tire Size And Warranty?

will a leveling spacer kit and rear blocks void the warranty on my 2007 (new body) z71??

 

 

how big can i go with my tires without voiding the warranty? I was looking at 305s

Isn't your warrenty close to being up anyways. You should have a year or less left.

 

No a leveling kit doesn't void a warrenty because the parts it effects are already considered wear items. Like ball joints, tie rods, sway bar links and cv joints.

 

The larger tires are another problem because many dealers will blame problems on the larger tires. Rear end goes out or transmission fails then they blame it on you and want to charge you for the repair. If this ever happens make them prove how the failure was caused by the tires and you want documentation of this. It they can't or make up something stupid, then threaten them with the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975. Just because you went up a size in tires does not mean parts start breaking, samething goes for someone who tows with their truck.
