Alignment Question

So I put my 1.5" leveling kit in last weekend and got an alignment on Thursday. Well my steering wheel is not 100% straight I have to keep the wheel at around the 12:05 position to go straight.

Should I call and tell them to fix it? or should I learn to live with it? Am I asking to much to have it perfectly straight?

The alignment was $70.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

If your not happy with it, take it back and ask them nicely to fix it. They should take care of the problem if they want to keep their customers happy.

i have a 6 inch lift with 35's and my steering wheel is dead strait, and at 70mph i can completely let go of my wheel till the road turns... make them fix it

Getting the wheel straight is 100% the skill of the tech. You could put 20 inches of lift on your truck and the wheel should be straight. I could understand if the caster was a little low due to lifting it, but not the wheel being off.

I called and told the stealership. Got to bring it in Thursday morning. 8.1 thanks for that info and I hate to be that guy that bitches but come on, they are wasting my time and gas by not getting it correct the first time.

I had requested a senior tech and was not able to get him. Now I have to do it all over again. Unreal.

Got my steering wheel straight this morning. Not even an apology. Gotta love great customer service and it only took them 1.25 hours this time.... Great.

At least they got it straight. My old 04 silverado was taken in 3 times and they never got it right. Needless to say I won't use that shop when I level my avalanche.
