A lot of you I may already know from various boards like GMFS, SilveradoSS, etc.

But for those that don't I'll be representing Adam's Premium Car Care Products here on the boards, offering you guys special discounts, tips, information, and a bunch of other stuff. I've been detailing professionally for about 14 years now, I've worked on everything from $10 million prototype cars down to $1000 daily driven beaters and everything in between. I've done work for a number of auction houses prepping cars to go across the block, magazine cover and feature vehicles, SEMA show rides, and AMBR show winners, etc. I've seen pretty much any detailing challenge there is so please feel free to pick my brain, I love to talk detailing and impart what knowledge I have on the subject.

If you have a detailing related question please don't hesitate to hit me up, I'll do my best to get you answers quickly.

Looking forward to making myself at home here on the board. Below are a few pictures of my current and past rides... as you can tell I'm pretty GM loyal

Dylan,

I have got these "spider web" scratches all over my red 05' Silvy. Last summer I ended up having a tree branch put a significant (to me anyway) scratch down the side of my truck. I have tried all kinds of waxes to get these out, but nothing works. :dunno:

Would have any tips on what I could try? I have heard that a rubbing compuond will take them out, but that will also remove my clearcoat won't it? If that's what has to be done then okay, but then I will have to be really careful to not get it scratched up again won't I? Is a guy destined to constantly waxing his truck if he does remove the clearcoat?

TIA,

Randy

Dylan those rims are sick, are those 22" ss? Aftermarket? or powdercoat-paint?

The Avalanche?

22" TBSS Replicas, painted. I did the same thing on my TBSS too... powdercoat never looks as good as paint or matches as well. Plus, as long as you take care of them the durability issues aren't there.

I put something like 10,000 miles on the TBSS after they were painted and didn't have a single problem.
