Center Console Latch

2003 GMC 2500 Sierra diesel. The center console latch stuck & would not open. In manipulating I finally got it open but some of the latch parts came loose & I need to know how they go together again. Specifically there is a yellow round dowel/pin about 1" long & maybe 1/4" diameter that I can't find where it goes. Is there a diagram anywhere that will show me the proper place/assembly so I can put this back together. I don't want to have to replace the entire console as I understand that requires seat removal etc. Anything you can advise will be appreciated.
