Swaybar Alignment After Leveling Kit

Recommended Posts

Posted

Has anybody installed a top mount spacer and had difficulty lining up the swaybar connections? The Kit I installed was the Skyjacker 2" level. Everything else moved into the correct place as it was tightened up the swaybar did not.

Its not really bad, but the rubber bushings did not seat exactly in the holes like they were before. I don't want to over tighten them as they are just rubber and will probably deform or break if I force them.

Just torque the nuts to 17ft/lbs, that's all you need to do. You wont be able to over tighten them, the nut will just strip out first. Don't ask how i know this.
