Turbo Or Supercharger

I have a 2009 GMC sierra z71 with a 5" lift and 33x12.50s and was thinking about putting on a turbo or supercharger. I was hoping some people could give me some info on what will be the better option for performance and for fuel economy. I also would like to know if I would need to upgrade my trany and or anything else to handle the extra Hp. The truck is stock besides lift tires and catback exhaust.

What do you use the truck for? There are different kinds of superchargers, and different kinds of turbo systems, each with pros and cons.

 

The easiest and funnest on the street (my opinion)? Positive displacement supercharger. Most peak horsepower? Centrifugal supercharger or turbo.
