2006 Silverado Upper Control Arms

Hello everyone.

If there is a previous thread which covers this, please help direct me that way. I am at work at the moment on my lunch break and need to find this piece of information quickly, otherwise I would myself.

I have a 2006 1500 crew cab. My passenger side upper control arm bushings are beginning to squeek, indicating that they need to be replaced. My passenger side upper ball joint boot is also torn. Even though my joint is still tight, I can buy a replacement arm and get new bushings and joints for less than it would cost a mechanic to replace just the bushings. I am interested in using a MOOG replacement.

However, searching online for the part has made me confused. Some stores seem to have a part which fits all body and cab configurations for a 2006 1500. Others have some parts noted as for standard and extended cabs only with a separate part for the crew cab. The part numbers in all of these cases overlap and have just added to the confusion. Could someone here please help me definitively answer:

A. Do I need to get a control arm specifically for a crew cab? Are these any additional benefits, such as higher strength?

B. Could someone provide a part number/site to buy a Moog or whatever else the best option would be for my vehicle?

I am not attempting to pass the leg work of this off to someone else, as I have researched this topic extensively, but I have been unable to definitively answer what I ultimately need.

I very much appreciate it.
