07-11 Grille Change

Just wondering how tricky it is to swap out the grille on an 07 Sierra ( both factory grilles) going from black to a chrome.

Not to bad... If you can get the front bumper cap off.. it's alot easier. I was able swap over my 07 Sierra grill with a denali grill without taking off the front bumper cover but other say its near impossible do to that. So... thats the tricky part really. Otherwise easy

changed mine to all terrain grille, no problem with just changing the grilled and nothing more.

Just purchased my new Sierra 2 weeks ago. Was looking into doing something like this after getting a spray in bedliner put in. Any advice on where to purchase/part numbers/how much to expect to pay?

You have impeccable taste because the All Terrain grille looks sweet! I was looking into swapping the grille off of my '07 Sierra with this bad boy as well. The GM part # is 25809578. It runs $515 at the stealership but I was considering picking up the same part from gmpartsgiant.com for $359. I'm just waiting to get the approval from my financial manager- I mean, wife

You have to remove the plastic bumper cover piece to get the grille off. There are several screws in the wheel well area on each side to remove and then it pops off. Be warned...You have to pull on it like you mean to break it in half to get the fasteners to pop loose! Taking the actual grille itself off is pretty straight forward. More pop fasteners and some bolts.

Hey all, bringing this back. I found a Denali grill on craigslist cheap. My question is on my 2011 SLT the GMC emblem seems to be integrated with the black bumper. With the Denali grill is another emblem needed? The Denali grill is from an 07 but it should still work according to the search button.

My Denali grill was/is off an 07... it fit my 07 and my 11 without issue

Hmm so if I buy the Denali Grill it does not have the GMC Emblem it only has the cut out for it. My old one will work with the denali grill. I guess I looked at it wrong.
