Fitting 35's Not A Typical Question!

hey guys..

FIrst off you guys were a great help in helping achieve proper fitment on my 2005 gmc sierra 1500. Thanks

Now my question is the following. I have done some research and have found very little on my specific situation. everyone is always discussing that they have just a 3 inch body lift or a 6 inch suspension lit.

I have a 3 inch body lift and have cranked my torsion about about 2.5 inches in the front. Thats roughly 5 to 5.5 inches of lift.

My concern is that the rim is very aggressive.. its a 17 x9 -12mm . \

I have no bottom lip on my sierra front bumper.. so that could in theory add some turning angle lol

Can anyone tell me what I should expect. Rubbing? Rubbing at full lock only? rubbing on the inside?

Thanks

Stefano

I know that 35s rub some with factory wheels and body lift, so I imagine they will rub badly with the wheels.

My buddy's 05 2500 barely rubs 33s on 20x9 -12 (no body lift).

I think it's going to rub... It will be close though. It depends on the offset. 4.5" is about what you need for them to fit. I don't know how that equates to -12mm

Yeah they will rub. I had some decent rubbing on my old 03 HD with a 2" crank and 33's on x9's. That truck sat just about as high as my friends 1500 with a 3" body / 2" crank. He rubbed 33's too.

yes the rim has 4.5 inch back spacing..

You may have to trim the bumper corner and cut back/out fender liner. In my opinion, any rubbings a bad thing.
