Sct Tuners

Anybody have any expereince with or opinion of SCT tuners as an alternative to HP Tuners ? I'm working with a local tuning shop who uses HP & SCT. He was leaning towards the HP only due to the fact that it was less expensive, but from what I understand the SCT/X3 is an option that allows the same custom tuning options as an HP Tune but I come away with the hand-held and am able to reload the factory tune in a pinch if I have to, not that I would unless it was a warranty issue. Any feedback on this approach ?

SC is a great tuner so I don't see anything wrong with it. If you want a custom tune, then Blackbear is the man to hook you up. You can get the autocal handheld and works similar but you have the personal feel having Justin doing the tune.

 

Either way... you can't go wrong. Compare price and see how it fits.
