Steering/suspension Problem

About 2 weeks ago I installed a 2 1/2" leveling front end kit on my '07 Silverado (New body style). The kit installed very simple, the next day the alignment was completed. The truck rides great, but when I steer either way the steering does a pop sound and you can feel it. It only occurs when the steering is extreme, such as backing out of a parking stall. Drive steering is fine. I can not duplicate the problem unless the truck is in motion. Any ideas? Thanks

What brand lift? What all was taken off/moved/put back on to install the kit?

The manufacture is Heavy Metal Inc. They offered a lifetime warranty on the parts. I had to remove the top spindles, tie rod ends and sway bar. Unbolt the struts top and bottom, then bolt the spacer on top of the struts and then reassemble. Nothing broke during the process and still nothing seems broken.

Took the truck in yesterday and discovered that the local Firestone Center that did the wheel alignment did not tighten all the bolts on the steering. A few bolts were hanging on by a few threads. I sent Firestone a "nice" e-mail explaning my "happiness".
