Dumped Exhaust Questions

This may be a simple answer, i recently put a magnaflow 14419 muffler on my truck, and i dummied it right behind the cab. It is really loud, almost too loud. If i ran the pipe out the rear would it make it quieter in the cab? I know how everyone likes sound clips, this is one that i found on youtube it is a 2009 and is ran out the back, I have a 2010 dumped.

not trying to hijack the thread but has anyone dumped the exhaust after the axle to keep interior noise low but still have a clean look. Just cut it off by the spare tire parallel to the ground so its "turned down" wondering if it would rot the spare or discolor the bumper from the exhaust.

Yes running it out the back will make it quieter.

Thats what i thought, but i didn't wanna spend the money for something that would't work.

I had my muffler welded in place of the stock one and had turn downs put right on the muffler. Not too loud and dont have the horrid pipes hanging all over the place.

Mine is. It used to be dumped before the axle, but when I got my gears changed the shop said that the exhaust was blowing on the diff. He strongly advised I get it changed, so I did. It doesn't sound as deep but there is less drone and it still sounds throaty.
