Where are you located and what size are the stock tires?

I sold mine on Craigs List. This is how my add read:

For Sale -- The tire/wheel package from a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado. The wheels are the Chrome 17" LT wheel complete with center caps. The tires are the new General Motors OEM General Grabber HTS in size 245/70/17. These are a vast improvement over the previous OEM tire. The tire wheel combo has 1,506 miles on them, so they are almost new. They are mounted, inflated, and factory balanced. The TPMS is not included. These will fit all Silverado and GMC Sierra's from 1999 up with the six bolt lug pattern. The tire price on the Tire Rack web site is $146.00 each before shipping, installation and balancing. I'm looking to get $500.00 for the set, or best offer. This is like getting the new chrome wheels free for only the cost of the tires! You guys with the WT package that need new tires can get GM's new OEM tire and upgrade to chrome wheels at the same time. How Great is that?

I am located in XXXXXXX but we can meet anywhere in the greater Phoenix area. Phone Lou at 520-XXX-XXXX.

Im located in Chino Hills, CA (southern). The wheels will be the base LT models attached. THey are 17 inch and the tire size will be 265/70-17 i think. Unless i get a good deal on a truck with more upgrades then these will be most likely what i will get.

I looked up that these tires will mostly cost about $125 to $150 new so i would hope to receive close to that if i could if i included the wheels as well.

How fast did your wheels/tires sell on craigslist??

I sold my wheels and tires back to the dealer and they put the tahoe rims and tires on mine.

How much did they buy them back for? and would they only install their wheels and tires? I would want some xd series wheels and larger tires....

Welcome to the forums, great spot to learn more about your new GM truck. :)

I bought a set of new take-offs from ebay and I suspect you could do a few quick searches there and get a dollar value of what yours would be worth in your location. Very least you will see what a set of your rims sell for and can do the math on the whole package. I suspect you know this but you have the Tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) in the stock wheels so you will have to get those out or get another set for your new wheels.

I have sold other wheels and tires on Craigslist and it depends on who needs a set and how they are priced, my experience with craigslist is you will get a lot of bottom feeders who want your stuff for nothing.
