I have a 2011 Silverado with the 18" wheels. I am putting 17x9 XD Hoss with 35" BFG KM2. Now for the question, can I use the stock TPMS or do I have to get new ones? How hard is it to switch them over? I have no I idea

I got a set from eBay for my 09 Sierra's new winter rims and tires, I think for $50 for 4. Just brought them to a tire place, they broke the bead at the valve stem area, reached in and pulled them through. total in shop time 30min and $40 later.

 

There is a nut on the ourside, you just unscrew the nut and pull them back through the old rim. Big thing to make sure is you dont break them when you remove the rubber. Rim size makes no difference. Look in your manual on how to reset them to match the truck sensors, unless you install them on the same corner they came off.

 

If you buy new ones just make sure the model numbers are good for your sensor (there are only 2 or 3 manufactures of these things anyhow)
