Tinted Headlights? Need Suggestions

I got niteshades on all the lights except headlights as of yesterday and i'm wanting a CHEAP solution to doing the headlights seeing as i dont have the money for covers. would niteshades sacrafice to much light and if so is there an easy way to take the nipples off the headlight assembly and tint it with film? lookin for suggestions (pics would be nice to)

I have had the cover for my headlights, and from my experience, i would never permenantly tint my headlights, how do you expect to drive at night?

I don't think window tint would hold up. Not sure about the laws where you are but I'm pretty sure it would be illegal. More than that it's just not safe. Maybe save for covers. Then you can just take them off at night.

alright saving for covers it is then. i just want enough to change the color of the lights and add a smoke look to them but like yall said it may get dangerous and not hold up...
