4" Lift; What Do?

I currently just got a 1992 Fullsize Blazer, would love to lift it. I did a bit of research and saw that 4" is the minimal to start with having a kit. So I'm checking what would be the best kit to buy and also looking at a body lift, 2"? I'm not looking to do anything extreme, minor off-roading around the state, no 75 degree rock climbing madness just a little mudding and offroading.

Also what would be a good set of tires that would be fine for this and on the highway? Looking for something thatll look proportional.

Thanks,

Mike

I'm new so alot of tips and help would be appreciated!!

Wow. I thought maxxis only made atv and utv tires. had no idea they made truck tires. looking to get some maxxis bighorn 2.0's for my utv.

Thanks for the reply and I will look into those tires. As for my idea of 4" suspension lift and 2" body lift, what would I be looking at with the stock 16" wheel to have the tire look proportional to the lift? My GUESS would be 34-35? From the website you supplied my max limit with a 16" would be 34.6" height which I think would look great. But don't know till I have it setup unless someone else could supply pictures of a build like what i'm thinking.

Also looking at wheel rub, any issue? or max width to worry about?

Off topic but I have had original Maxxis Boghorns that get heavy use on my atv for 3 years and they are still like new. They wear like iron and are a great radial tire. Depending on your engine size and power, you may want to give the original bighorns a try, all around great tires.

I would just crank on the torsion bars and put blocks in the rear. Can easily clear 33x12.5 then. May have to trim depending on the rim off-set you go with.
