Would This Get It Done And Keep A Decent Ride Quality?

Thinking about installing the Congnito UCA kit with extended Bilstein shocks, 2" rear block, and extended rear shocks. I will more than likely (once hunting season rolls around) put on some Goodyear DuraTracs in 285/70R17.

Is there anything else that is necessary with the UCA kit? I know it's quite a chunk of change for 2", but I really want to keep a half way decent ride to it.

Thanks for any input... good or bad...

looks like a pretty high quality kit from there website. it gives you an extra 2" of travel instead of just lifting the front 2". another plus is the upper ball joints are bol in, not pressed in, so they will be easier to service down the road.

it looks like the UCA kit doesn't actually lift the truck, you have the option of cranking the stock torsion keys, or buying the 2" keys.

OR, should I just do the new keys and lower shock extender for now?

Do it the right way, buy the kit and get the Bilsteins. You really should not need new, longer rear shocks with 2" blocks. You can save some money and prevent the shocks on the rear form over extending by getting extensions that mount to your top rear shock mounts for around $60.00.

I'm running 285/70-17 on stock wheels with only maybe 5/8" front lift from Bilstein shocks on my 1500 Silverado.
