Pull The Fuse=fix The Climate Control

Climate control went wacky last week with blower speed stuck on high no matter the temp setting. The interior temp sensor in the headliner had been getting louder and louder and it finally got nice and quiet (dead) and that is when the climate control went south. Replaced the interior temp sensor with no change to the system operation. Something compelled me to pull the fuses for HVAC and A/C to reset the system. Lo and behold it worked. System is back to normal with varying fan speeds as the temp knob is changed. Who'd a thunk a simple reset would fix it?

Same thing happens with the blend door acuator on my 05. It will be nice and cold and then all of a sudden the driver side starts blowing hot. A simple restart of the truck is all it needed, but I have manual controls.

Same here in my 06, but I can't restart mine while driving down the road and hate to pull over to do it. How do we fix it?

Well the dang thing did it again. Hot/cold out of the vents and high blower speed no matter the settings. Pulled the fuses, let it sit, put them back in and voila' all is back to normal. WTF??
