Gently pry the mouldings off with a plastic trim tool ( heat may help) then use a rubber eraser wheel and a drill to remove the adhesive. Careful not to stay in one spot too long and damage paint. for the stickers use a heat gun and try and get an edge too lift by using a PLASTIC razor blade then peel the rest off.

i wanna remove the decals from the tailgate and the decals and trim on the body anyone know what to do

removed mine on my gmt900 to paint black with a window tint tool basically a flat piece of plasic with a blade edge. My badges all had foam backing, so I removed them with the tint tool removed excess glue on truck with plain gas then soaked decals in gas to remove fron decal (if you are reusing)

I did exactly what GMTech686 said and had no issues, very easy.

Park it in the sunheat it up then take a piece of 20lb fishing line and cut the moldings off. Decals will peel off like any other decal it may however left a cloudy spot where they stuck mine did. Polished and waxed and the spot has disappeared took about two months though.

Yeah I used fishing line to get my badges off. And then some tar remover to get the adhesive off after I got the badges off. Z71 sticker just peeled off and I polished the paint where the outline was.

fishing line, little heat and eraser wheel.

The eraser wheel will take pinstripes off, so it should remove the 4x4 or z71 decals if they give you an issue

I appreciate it. I just didn't like all the chrome that was on it at the time. Before I took the first picture, I had already removed a chrome toolbox and some diamond plated chrome bed caps that were all bent up. I felt like it was a little too "grandpawish" looking.
