2006 Gmc Sierra Question

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 5.3l. with a DiabloSport programmer on it with a custom tune,a cold air intake, and the cats cut off straight pipe to a magnaflow muffler dumped right before the rear axle. Im trying to figure out what to do with the engine but I cant make up my mind on what to do with it. Any Ideas? or something you have done with a comparable truck? Any tips,tricks or ideas are much appreciated.

 

 

 

also have 3.73 gear ratio(Stock) with 20" Rims on it.

Get rid of the tune and get a real tune from black bear performance, or a good custom shop, get rid of the 20's and go stock 17 or 18, you really didn't need to rid your cats since nowadays they are all high flowing cats, also get a mild cam since it will be the lesser of upgrades you will need and get some long tube headers, im planning on headers and mild cam soon, should give me some pretty good numbers since im already sitting at 250RWHP and 300RWTQ. Hope this helps

My cats were messed up I had one caved in and the other was cracked so I cut them off and straight piped it. a mild cam would do me a lot of good. I was thinking of changing my block(already found thinking about having it mocked up and blueprinted) to a 6.0 and having forged internals with new cams and a good port and polish done on it(maybe RR's). and the headers are already on the way-- hooker ceramic coated headers. haha just dont have a performance shop around here for the cams so im not real sure on how to figure out what cam I need.
