Low Airflow From Dash Vents

Hi All. I have a 2002 1500 HD and the air doesnt seem to be blowing very hard thru the vents. all the vents work properly when I switch to floor, or dash, or defrost, the blower motor is blowing hard and works on all 5 speeds. Just changed the cab filters and didnt really change things much. I know the blower is blowing hard because I turned it on when I had the cab filter access door removed and had very high airflow coming out of the open access door. Has anyone of you had this problem too? what was done to correct it?

When you switch it to the vents is it blowing anywhere else as well. Sometimes the little actuator doors dont open or close fully so the air will be diverted to other areas as well. If its not coming out strong on the center vent near the radio i would guess this is the problem.

I dont think the air is blowing harder in the center vents. i checked to see if some is coming out the defrost or the floor and dont feel anything. i would like to find a schematic or drawing of the air box that shows where all the actuators and doors are on this thing. haven't had much luck finding that

I have the same problem in my 91 gmc pick up lots of air comming through all vents except the defrost.. what should I look for

Where are the in cab filters??? Didn't know I had any. My truck is a 2003 2500hd. Sorry to highjack this thread. Thanks
