Windshield Replaced

Has anyone had any experience with having to replace the windshield on a 2010 Sierra? Im curious about how much its gonna cost.

I'm taking it for granted your winshield is cracked or broken so it depends on your deductible on glass breakage. Check with your insurance agent, or your insurance policy.

Yep cracked all the way across in one day. Hoping to jsut have it replaced and not going through insurance.

Call any auto glass shop and ask. Better than asking here....

We have them replaced at work quite often. Just had one done on a 2007 Sierra it was about $180 if I remember correctly through local glass company. Should give you and idea.

I just replaced another one on my 2008 Crewcab on Wednesday. This is the second time I've had it replaced.

 

They quoted around $200 for a replacement. No brand of glass specified. When I asked for a PPG (now PGW) they quoted $240. I went for the PGW. I had a no name Chinese windshield put in my 99. Never again.

Just call a auto glass company and let them go thru your insurance. It's REAL EZ.
