Alright WVU. Great win over Virinia Tech. :thumb:

First WVU win IN Blacksburg since 1992.

There is still a chance WVU could win the Big East.

If Miami loses tomorrow to Pitt, and then next week to VT and WVU beats Pitt next week.

Yes it's highly unlikely, but the chance is there.

Yeah, good game. I forgot that the game was on tonight instead of Thursday night until BlueRado PM'd me about it around halftime, so I only got to see the second half.

Oh man! I loved that sick look on Frankie Beamer's face when he realized he blew it!

Awesome win-the best WVU win since the 1992 season when they beat BC in the last few seconds and went undefeated that year! How about Grant Wiley going over the pile on 4th down next to last VT possesion and nailing Suggs on the 1!

Congrats guys! Great upset! I'm thinking about going over to the Facilities Building to be there when the team buses get back to Morgantown in a few hours. The radio says there's already about a thousand fans waiting/partying there! :thumb: Should be quite a spectacle!

That was 1993 wasn't it.

They went undefeated in 1988 and 1993.

1988 - Fiesta Bowl vs Notre Dame lost by 13 points.

1993 - Sugar Bowl vs Florida lost by 34 or so points.

You're right Elwood.

It was the 1993 regular season and the Sugar bowl WVU got into as a result was Jan 1, 1994. My dad bought tickets and he and I went down there to New Orleans to watch it. We got drubbed by the Gators in that game. .

What do you think about the Pitt game next week? They have a good long passing game. Should be another good one!

Unfortunately I think Pitt will probably win that one because of they're tough defense.

I look for Pitt to possibly knock off Miami tomorrow. They got a great defense, and if Rutgers can play Miami as good as they did Pitt has a d@mn good chance of beating them. If Pitt wins that game, they may come into the WVU game with a big head. I think that would give WVU a good opportunity to win.

Say, guys, is that game @ WVU or Pitt? Don't happen to know off the top of my head - never hear anything out here in Big10 land.

Hope it's home, as the crowd will be up for it, especially if Pitt beats Miami - that'll be a good game tonight too.

Yeah, I was happy to see that look on Beamer's face too - although, really, the game was VT's to win or lose and unfortunately Randall chose the wrong move in the heat of it - all he had to do was chuck it over the end zone and let the field goal guys do the rest. On the flip side, I thought WVU's taking the safety was wrong also - then they shanked the free kick to add insult to injury.

I was really impressed w/ the goal line stand and especially the final down what Wiley did!! :thumb: :thumb:

@ Pitt as far as I know. They said domething during the game last night about WVU playing their last home game a week or so ago.

Pitt cracked the top 20 too, so this game will be interesting (for WVU-Pitt fans, I guess) .

I watched the Steelers game last weekend (actually was in Pittsburgh and up on Mt. Washington, sightseeing, during part of the game), and that field is a mess!

Gonna be a lot of slipping/sliding goin on.
