I have a 2" Daystar kit on my 11 GMC . Rides and handles fine , no issues .

My only issue is that i want more lift now ......lol . A nice 3"-4" would be nice , but cant find one .

I agree, the "under the strut" method is the most popular and installs easier.

As for more than 2.5 or 3 You definately would want to go with a lift, that much of a level with stress you front end components un neccesarily

did you install yourself or pay someone? I just got a 11 Silverado and I'm not sure I want to take on the project. But the dealership charges too much in Las Vegas.

My friend owns a suspension shop so he did it with alignment.

Daystar kit , labor and alignment was 300.00

You can do it yourself with a jack (stands) and a couple wrenches, it's an easy install. All you should need to pay for is an alignment after you install the spacers.
