I rebuilt my carb with the new gaskets. I hooked it back up and followed the vacuum diagram perfectly. My carb is a Rochester 2 Jet. When I go to start the truck the gas over flows from its little chamber and spills everywhere even though i have my breather bolted down pretty tight. I have been adjusting the two front screws 1/4 turn each time. I really need this truck running soon so any help appreciated!! thanks!! truck is a 1977 Chevy C-10 w/original 305 and rochester 2 barrel (2jet model) carb

You have either not installed the needle and seat properly or have the float level way too high.

If your model has an accelerator pump with a check ball, the check ball must be re-installed

That check ball will not cause his issue. That check ball is there to simply stop the accerator pump from pushing the fuel back from whence it came.
