EnergyFX Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 Several months ago I submitted a multimedia print I designed to the "Air Force Multimedia Layout" contest. I forgot about it and was just now poking around on the Air Force website again and stumbled across the winners page. Heh, turns out I won first place back in May! Pretty cool. The layout was originally designed for high resolution printout, not this contest. The size limit they required for submittal caused the text to lose its sharpness so it is a bit hard to read. Here is the link, scroll down to May 2002: http://www2.acc.af.mil/gallery//contest/winners.shtml Cool, I'm in a good mood now. I like nice surprises! Here is a higher quality version that can be printed out with a high quality printer on photo paper. http://mywebpages.comcast.net/EnergyFX/Call_to_Arms_BIG.bmp
MountaineerTom Posted November 23, 2002 Posted November 23, 2002 Congrats. I didn't know your were in the AF. :thumb: I'm just up the road from you, at Shaw AFB.
EnergyFX Posted November 24, 2002 Author Posted November 24, 2002 I visited Shaw a couple months ago on my way back from a Pontiac car show up in Raleigh, NC. Seems like a nice base. Billeting was nice, but then agian... I sweet talked the female SrA at the desk into giving me a DV suite for the night. If you're ever down this way throw me an e-mail.

Me and my son were down there on his spring break. We went to Patriots Point and took the ferry ride out to Ft. Sumter. I had done it before, but it was the first time he had been. We had a good time. :thumb: Spring break trip
