I have a 2004 Z71 that just lost all instruments. any help.

Instrument cluster stepper motors have probably gone out. You can have the cluster rebuilt for ~~$125 or so. Look around Ebay or local craigslist for cluster panel rebuilds.

Didn't GM issue a notice that it would replace the instrument cluster if the vehicle had less than 70,000 miles? I got a letter from them.
