33'' Tires On Stock Rims

I have heard from few people that putting 33'' tires on stock rims is a bad idea. Whats the cons to doing this?

nothing bad about it see tons of Z's running 33's on stock rims myself included, only bad thing is your mpg will go down

Did the few people you heard it from have a reason? Stock on my z71 are 32", so what's 1" more going to do?

its actuallt better to run a stock rim for fitment reasons. The offset is more positive so they dont stick out as far and dont rub as bad.

TY, I like your wheel and tire set up are those 17" Super 8's? also what backspacing are you using?

I knew a guy running 35's on stock rims. He never had a problem.

295/70-17 with no problems.

The only problem is if your tires are too wide for your wheels. Otherwise theres no issue.
