Gmt-900 Front Suspension Noise

Whenever the front suspension compresses, there is a noise accompanying the uncompression. Not a knock or a clunk, but more of a low pitch whimper (yeah, I know, that's not the best description but I don't know how else to explain it). It's only when weight taken off front suspension. There is no sound during the compression.

An example situation: If I brake quickly and cause the nose to dive a little, I'll hear the sound after the truck comes to a stop & levels back out.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm getting the exact same noise from my front suspension... Kind of like a "whooshing" noise when the front suspension decompresses after going over a speed bump or dip.

Ball joints? Control arm bushings? Stabilizer shaft bushings or links? Shocks? Need to isolate it.

I agree, need to find a way to duplicate the sounds while being under the truck to help isolate noise location. I know my sway bar bushings make noise from time to time but it could any of those thing that ChevyTech77 mentioned.
