OGM1 install in a 2011 Silverado 2500 HD

why can't you use the factoy mic over the drivers head?

Problem #1 is that it's not plumbed to the radio, but to the VCIM

Problem #2 is that as far as I've been told, the factory mic is not matched to the Bluetooth system in the Advent

Problem #3 is that you need to cut and splice the correct mic end onto the factory wires to be able to plug it in.

 

I'll post the schematic for anyone that wants to give it a go...
