They're held in place by injected nylon .... so heat them up good and hot (the nylon will come out of the hole like a worm with the heat) , & press them out. The replacements will have half-moon clips which go on the inside ... so you must watch your installation progress carefully. If they get pressed in too far, you'll never get the clips in properly & you'll be throwing your new joint in the trash.

IT'S MORE OR LESS THE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT IT LOOKS MORE LIKE THE CUPS SLID OUT A LITTLE, UP AND DOWN PLAY IN THE YOKES. I WAS SMAKING IT ON A BOULDER THE SIZE OF A RECLINER THAT GOT HUNG UP UNDER THE RIG THAT I UNEARTH ONE DAY.AS FOR THE REAR 2XX,XXXMILES STILL FACTORY JOINTS NO SLOP BUT 2XX,XXX
