Just curious if anyone has done one of these before.. my drivers side isbad and i got a price from my local gmcdealer of 105 for the parts..didnt think that was bad. But is it one of those things that you do both just because or the pass side might be fine for a while?

Certainly not my favorite job and if you don't have a hoist and a good selection of tools, I'd take it in to get it done. Known issue, btw. Seen quite a few of them. I always do both.

Yea my freind is a mechanic for 20 yrs and has every snap-on tool they make i think, and a hoist..

does any body aftermarket offer and better mounts?
