What Else To Replace With Serpentine Belt & Ac Belt

Recommended Posts

Truck finally hit 100K a few weeks ago and I know that is usually the time to replace the Serpentine and the A/C belt. I was wondering what else you guys would replace when doing this. Pretty much rolling with all AC/Delco parts. Here is the list from RockAuto that I pulled together from the AC/Delco website. I pretty much just listed everything. Probably overkill but rather replace it all while the belts are off then have to go back and do it again.

Why would you replace pulleys? I'd also leave the tensioner on unless it was giving you problems. Spark plugs and wires should be replaced around 100K also. Probably the radiator and heater hoses, too.

I actually did the spark plugs and wires and hoses when I installed the long tube headers and flushed the radiator. After a more thorough check of the belts, they actually look to be in very good shape. No glazing, cracking, or slipping. Think I just saved myself some money.
