Transfer Case ?

On 2003-2007 GMT800 1500 4wd w/5.3L. Is there any diff between a truck with the 4wd push button and a truck

with the floor 4wd shifter , so far as the transfer case goes. Or is there just a single transfer case used. One

for both the floor shift style and push button style.

 

I'm looking to buy a used truck , but, can't find what i am looking for locally . So I'm thinking if I get one with the

floor shifter, can I convert it to a dash mounted push button style 4wd system ?

- new t case

-encoder motor

-TCCM

-switch

-harnesses

-reprograming

-possible new PCM
