Onstar Remote Link

What 2010 models support Onstar remote link. I have a 2010 2500hd ltz I would have assumed it would support remote link however the app is telling me it is not supported on any of my registered vehicles.

Nothing 2010 is supported. 2010 vehicles have GEN 8 VCIM's and Remote Link is a GEN 9 option

I assume GM does not allow upgrades to the Gen 9 programming as I now see it is available on 11 an 12's.
