Driver's Side Rearview Mirror Housing Cracked

I accidentally caught my outside mirror on the garage door track backing out of my garage and cracked the housing. There is a small crack at the outside edge of the lip around the mirror and a small chunk taken out (See attached image). GM only services the entire mirror assembly and wants $400 for this part. Does anyone know of just the trim lip part being serviced by anyone in the aftermarket? If not, has anyone attempted to repair this piece. If I was able to use a black epoxy with something to stamp the texture back onto the surface, I could make a decent repair. Any help is appreciated!

Structure effect????? If not just forget about it.....

But you could make a cast mold of the grain..... Some kind of flexible material. Then use black epoxy to fill it with then press the mold into it... make a bigger mess than it already is. But thats just my opinion.

If it doesn't effect the mirror forget about it.
