Chevy Leveling Kit With 34" Tires?

I currently have 2010 Sierra with 2" front level kit & running 285/65/18 (33") nitto terra grapplers.

Want to increase to 295/70/18 (34.25") tires, but am wondering if this will work, or is that too large?

Anybody have any thoughts?

thanks

What if i do some minor trimming?

theres another thread going where the op is running a level kid with 1.5" body lift and it looks good with 34s.

Thanks! (that is if its my truck youre talking about lol) and yes i have 2.5 front, 3" rear and 1.5 body lift....it hasnt rubbed yet but i think 34s with just a leveling kit is gonna be too large. throw a body lift and the 2" might be fine

i have a 3" leveling kit and 295/70/17's and have zero rubbing except for some rubbing on the sway bar at full lock, only 1 way though (it's just the side biters on the trail grappler thought, a less aggressive tire would prolly have no rubbing)

How long have you had the 3 in kit on?

He will get back to you after he finishes replacing his CV's, BJ's, and TRE's.

i had a 2" RC since almost new, then i just put the 3" on the other day, angles ain't much worse than with a 2". i love how people on here think you have to have a lift kit or your truck breaks over night, too funny. my buddys has 80k on his truck, 3" kit since the day he brought it home, to say it was molested would be an understatement, still the stock front end.

You don't need a lift kit on your truck to keep from breaking things....quite the contrary actually. But there's a reason you don't see any reputable companies making 3" leveling kits without providing diff drops and UCA's. Binding CV's and riding on the droop stops (or cutting them off) isn't something most of us are willing to do. If you are...rock on and enjoy your truck.

BTW...this guy - - indicates facetiousness.

Could you post some angle pics? Personally, id run the RCX 5 long before the Readylift but to each his own.

here are some pics of the angles. I am trying to find out how big of spacer I need to run the stock 17's with the rcx. for under 900 bucks for the 5" RCX it is a pretty good deal. I know there is a ton of grease all over on the driver side, the cv boot is split where it pleats. I'm at 40'ish in the front now.
