Replaced Abs Wheel Speed Sensor

If ABS is pulling truck to left, which sensor is giving bad readings??

abs doesnt do that ,,,,take it to a shop now ,,,you have no experience in this at all ,dont do this yourself for public safety sake

haha, maybe, but you certainly don't. with a little reading I cleaned the sensor mounting surface, problem solved. if one sensor is giving erratic readings the truck will think it is slipping and engage the abs. the tolerance from the sensor to the tone ring is extremely tight and can be altered by "rust jacking" (corrosion build-up). i bought 37 cents worth of emery cloth to fix this issue. <100mV off sensor prior to reseating it. now >300mV

What govetech4 is saying is if you have a pulling to one side issue it's not going to the ABS system. You have a problem in your suspension such as brakes or alignment.

That can be a cause, true. The pull (and "abs pedal") is now gone after fixing the sensor. I failed to mention that the "pull" would cease when the abs light would kick on (truck shut off abs system). there are dozens of threads on the internet on this, i made the mistake of posting here before i searched enough.

i just read how a person decribes their problem and can tell if they have a clue ,,,,,you didnt type like ya did ,but thanks for assuming what i know ,,,,after 34 yrs i do have a clue ,,,,,,

 

avoiding dealerships? internet fixes nothing son ,,,,being smart and knowing your limitations is whats being promoted from me ,,,how the systems work etc ,,,,,do you have a $1200 scanner ?,no one does
