renegadeking Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Hey guys I'm putting a 6 " rough country lift on my k1500. My rear leafs are sagging pretty good. The kit comes with a 5 " block which I think looks bad and I heard bad things with axle sealing with blocks. My question is what brand of leads out of pro comp, superlift, aor skyjacker I want a stiff spring since I have a tool bow full of tools and other stuff. Should I get real stiff 1500 springs or soft 2500s. Lastly how high can I go before I bottom my rear shocks out. I also have Will be running dual rear shocks
ruggedlife Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 from my experiance most lift springs will just give you lift, they try to set the spring rate close to stock . however you could do a lift and small block to get the stance you want, or get a 2500 spring pack and play with the blocks from there. and as for shocks go i assume youre still going to be around 6 inches of lift so it shouldnt matter
