Anyone know where I can get a metal 7 pin trailer receptacle for a 99 Silverado? My dads needs a new one, but he wants a metal one instead of plastic.

Not all plastic receptacles are "Cheap junk". There is a lot of metal trailer plugs that are "cheap junk" . The good plastic models will never corrode and are easy to disassemble if you need to get into the wiring for some reason. The metal ones are impossible to take apart once they start corroding. All you can do is cut it off and install a new one when that happens.
