Leveling question...sorry!

Hey yall, I am new to this forum as I am a new Chevy owner and I am looking forward to collaborating with yall. Anyways, I have a few questions.

1. I did a lot of searching online about leveling kits for front ends and I get a lot of differing answers so I am looking for some clarification. Here are my assumptions so far. '08 1500's Z71 do not have torsion bars so I would need to buy spacers for my coil springs. After I install these spacers (looking for 1.5'' - 2'') I will need to get an alignment. Are these assumptions correct? And any recommendations for leveling kits?

2. I understand that most lube points have been replaced with "life-time" seals but there are still a few zerks that need lubed on an '08 silverado 1500 Z71. What are the lube points on my truck?

Thanks!

Congrats on the new truck. 2" RC kits about the easiest to get. It takes about 10 minutes per side to install. You will need to get an alignment soon after the installation.

And Welcome to the site

I used Pro Comp 1.5" levelling kit, and ride rite air bags. Like 11 said, 10 min per side.

**keep in mind that you'll need an extra 2" to get your wheels back on, so make sure your jack is set up accordingly...
