Cracked Dash

I noticed today that I have a hairline crack in my dash by the passenger airbag. Would this be covered under warranty?

I know this thread is old but I just noticed the same thing in my truck today. Anyone have an ebony dash up for sale?

Search YouTube...guy documenting numerous cracks in the same spot as the OP and also on the drivers side. Not random cracks. Always the same spots each vehicle.

 

Strikes me as a design flaw.

Mine is always out in the elements, however I do have very dark tint on my front and back and a limo tint strip as well, but I am not sure where this crack came from. I wish there is some way to fill it in or something!

my suggestion is to replace it ,,,because if you try and fix it with ,,,whatever,,you will NOT like the result ,you will always look at it ,,,

dealer ...a few screws ,i can look it up for you when you buy it on how to replace it
