Anyone running a torque converter on the 6L80?

I was looking around on the camaro5 forums and saw guys are running Yank converters. I went over to the Yank website and sure enough they have a GM Truck converters for 6L80.

So my question is, has anyone on here installed a converter in their 6L80 truck yet? And with that in mind, anyone with a 6.2 truck?

  The AI response here is contradicting itself... torque and traction are different, more torque does not mean more traction. Too much torque will break traction.

  2024 2500 LTZ crew cab long bed 4x4. We pull a 5th wheel, not a bumper pull but regularly pull horses in a bumper pull trailer as well as a gooseneck. Our 5th wheel is 11,000 pounds GVWR. We've towed about 10hrs on the longest trip - after a mile or two, forgot the camper was back there except for going over bridges with a dip that gave a small bit of a bounce. Same will any horse trailer we pull (probably 8,000 at the most) and we don't even realize it's back there.

  Heading out to Colorado and would like to take the Silverado TB but wonder what passes it can handle? Driving there from the east coast in the Silverado TB would be much better than my JK, but want to make sure it can handle many of the passes around Telluride. Has anyone had experience with the TB on passes in the San Juan Mts, and which ones can the Silverado do? offroad passes like Imogene, engineer, or cinnamon pass.. Alpine loop..
