5" RCX Lift

Recently installed an RCX 5" lift and a TGC 1" bottom strut spacer on my 2007 NNBS crew cab with a buddy of mine who has the know-how. Rides like a brick but loving it so far.

Truck also has a Zone 1.5" body lift and sits on 296/60/20 Terra Grapplers.

The truck looks awesome, but if it rides like a brick, I wouldn't be happy with that.

Thanks, man. The rough ride is the RC rear shocks that came with the kit. Apparently a set of bilstiens will help tremendously.

get the bilsteins 5100s dude and you wont even need the TGC spacer. I'm getting the RCX 5" in the spring. I already have a 3" Zone BL, so I'm gonna run the RCX with a 4" rear block and bilsteins set to the lowest setting, so i'll be around 7.5" total.

BTW, truck looks sick...saw it on GMFS as well. It would look better with some wider tires :)

Thanks man. I'll bet the bilsteins at some point. Truck isn't a daily driver so I'm not too bothered by it.

Eh, not a 12.50" kind of tire guy.

Looks good man.

Thanks, man.

Truck looks great . Have a question for ya does the front stick out further than the rear?? Also how was the install? If you dont mind me asking how much did it run ya and where did ya get it? Was there much cutting involved?

Front wheels stuck out a tad more than stock. 1.5" spacers in the rear got everything lined up again. Install took a good amount of time sue to seized bolts ect. But a good reined of mine who is no stranger to lifts helped which made life easier along with his tool selection. Slight bit of cutting. Purchased the entire kit from MPC over on GMFullsize. Excellent price.

Thanks all for your comments.
