how to set new tpms on my ECU?

I just bought new oem set of wheels and tires with installed tpms, I just would like to swap them in my truck , Is it possible to set new tpms with my ECU without the tpms tool?

Yes you can by following the TPMS reset procedure in your owner's manual. It will recognize the sensors in the new wheels. One precaution is to wait for at least 15 minutes after parking your vehicle so the current sensors are in sleep mode (non-active) and to make sure that your old sensors are not within communicating distance of the truck at the time.

 

I use a third party tool to activate the sensors when required by the relearn process instead of using the letting air out routine.
