Installed DIC

Hey guys,

Went and picked up at DIC at the dealer today for my 2010 Sierra. Just thought I'd let you guys know that even the W/T models have the wiring. Was reading about this last night and a few guys said they didn't have any wiring on their W/T models. Of course it doesn't provide everything an SLE of LT model might but it still does have the tire pressure, avg fuel, trip, engine hours, fuel usage and remaining fuel. Nice Mod to upgrade too. Still can't believe GM provides the wiring for this but no buttons....

Yea seems like it wouldnt have cost GM much to just add the buttons...very weird

Good mod for under $100 though

it would cost very little to add them, but they make much more money offering it as an option.

Where does it say that W/T don't have the wiring? I know almost every truck at work has the wiring. We got like 30. And my truck has it. Just curious. Yeah great upgrade though. Just wish it was that easy to add a power window/door lock panel to my truck!

Installed mine last night on my 2011 2500HD. Went in pretty easy and the wire was right there when I took the old panel off. I got my new panel on e-bay for 82 bucks. Nice mod.

I just noticed in a thread that someone didn't have the wiring because of it being a work truck. But maybe it was a fleet model... They make those pretty bare.
