2007 Tahoe Navigation question

I suppose this applies to anyone with an 07 tahoe/suburban/yukon/escalade with Nav.

 

Once Ive entered an address, and the system is working - how do I get rid of the right hand screen that shows all the upcoming exits on the highway? I cant seem to get a full map on the screen. Ive tried every button and looked thru the owners manual. I dont need the extra info about every exit on the highway. I just want to get a full map on screen.

 

Anyone?

I have a 2012 navagation system and on the left hand side of the screen there is a "box" icon with a split down the middle, when I press this it goes back to full screen.
