Nnbs driver door stuck closed

Okay so what happened was my interior door handle cable broke and so I was replacing it and put the panel back on then it would not latch. The door just bounced off when trying to close it. I hit the lock and the tried. Now stuck closed. Tried the Interior handle and the cable slipped. So now it's just closed with the door panel on and not sure how to get it off. Just need to open the door

Just a little update. I was able to release the door latch by rolling down the window and looking from about at the latch assembly. Its just below the electric wire harness. I used my antenna and pushed open the lever to release the latch. I know the stealership would have ripped my wallet open had I taken it to them.

So the lesson learned is to test something before you put it completely back together and close the door.. So do you have it functioning properly now?

In my defense, I only put the panel back on after the inside handle did not work due to a bad cable. Exterior handle still worked but then jammed. Haha

 

But yes it's all put together and working fine now
