Sierra Denali painted front plastics?

I have a Denali front end on my 2009 Sierra, it's going into the body shop for some minor paint work. I was thinking of having the black plastic around the lower grill area painted white diamond to match the truck. I would leave the lower lip black. GM shows pics of the truck painted like this on the website, but I couldnt find any trucks actually painted like that.

 

What do you guys think?

I have seen one in white diamond with painted plastic and it makes a world of a difference. I saw it on the Denali trucks forum site

yeah i think it looks really good! i hope its a good shop. be sure to ask them to sand the textured plastic down, smooth. and ask if they're going to use an adhesion promoter before spraying primer on it. that step is critical when painting plastic thats going to get hit by debris like bugs and rock chips..
