Windshield Wiper Blades

OK. You experts in the 3 year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on new vehicles.

 

Is the rubber on the windshield wipers covered under warranty?

 

Or does this default down to a "wear" item? And no free warranty replacement of wiper blades?

I doubt there covered but heck try anyway. Sweet talk them & maybe get oil change out of it too!

Normal wear item and not normally covered under warranty (dealer may be nice enough to throw a pair in on a service job for you).
